PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate defects concerning a diffraction grating having a "specific shape" using an uneven structure incorporated as information difficult to confirm by visual inspection, in a various pattern employed for security application such as the diffraction grating or hologram, wherein the fact being "random" disagrees with the fact to diffract light "strongly", by producing interference of light by "periodicity" of unevenness when enhancing a forgery prevention effect by the randomness of "specific shape", and large variations and unevenness occur in the brightness and hue of the diffraction image and hologram image, when observing the whole diffraction grating created using this technique by visual inspection. SOLUTION: The "specific shape" is included in a "predetermined information", thereby confidentiality is enhanced by the presence of the "specific shape", and the diffraction and hologram images are obtained which are free of large variations and unevenness in the brightness and hue.
