<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate working machine capable of preventing occurrence of scratches on the under surface of a workpiece when moving and positioning the workpiece in an X-axis direction and a Y-axis direction on a table. <P>SOLUTION: In the plate metal working machine in which a carriage 9 having a work clamp 7 is freely movably provided in the right and left direction being the X-axis direction, on a carriage base 5 provided freely movably in the transverse direction being the Y-axis direction approaching and separating from the plate working position 3, an endless member 11 which is freely movable in the Y-axis direction is provided movably integrally with the carriage base 5. A supporting region 31 corresponding to a thick plate for supporting the workpiece correspondingly to the thick plate and a supporting region 33 corresponding to a sheet metal for supporting the workpiece correspondingly to the sheet metal are provided to the endless member 11. The supporting region 31 corresponding to the thick plate and the supporting region 33 corresponding to the sheet metal are provided so as to be freely vertically switched correspondingly to the thickness of the workpiece to be worked in the plate working position 3 and connection parts which are freely connected and disconnected to/from the carriage base 5 are provided in a plurality of places of the endless member 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&amp;INPIT</p> |
