<p>The device has a controller (50) for controlling opening and closing of an artery line (2) during simultaneous closing and opening of a valve line (3), where untreated blood is drawn via the artery line and a single-lumen-arrangement. A sensor device (21) detects amount of the blood in an artery line container (20). A closing device closes the valve line during simultaneous opening of the artery line corresponding to a signal of the sensor device. The controller automatically adjusts phase volume to a preset value based on actual conveyance rate of a pump (40) i.e. roller pump, during a phase. The controller is formed as a regulator e.g. proportional controller, integral controller, derivative controller, proportional-integral controller, proportional-derivative controller, proportional-integral-derivative controller, two-level controller, three-level controller, multi-step controller and/or fuzzy logic controller.</p> |
