PURPOSE: A control device of an electric heating appliance including a safety circuit is provided to control the temperature of a heating line by changing an input trigger point of a gate, thereby reducing power consumption. CONSTITUTION: A first heating terminal (H1) and a second heating terminal (H2) are connected to both ends of a heating line. A first cooling terminal (S1) and a second cooling terminal (S2) are connected to both ends of a cooling line. The cooling line is arranged in parallel with the heating line. The first heating terminal and the second heating terminal are connected through AC power. The first heating terminal and the second heating terminal are connected through a thyristor.
