PURPOSE: An automatic control device of side guide parts for preventing the swerving of strips is provided to automatically correct the strips entered into a mandrel in a hot rolling process after grasping whether or not the strips are swerved. CONSTITUTION: An automatic control device of side guide parts (130) for preventing the swerving of strips comprises a strip speed measurement part (110), a strip swerving measurement part (120), the side guide parts, and a driving control part. The strip speed measurement part measures the speed of the strips. The strip swerving measurement part measures the swerved amount of the strips. The side guide parts horizontally move in a lateral direction of a roller table. The driving control part horizontally moves the side guide parts. The strip speed measurement part comprises a roller (112) and a first encoder (114).
