<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walk assisting vehicle which can easily be folded by one hand, and in addition, can be made self-stand under the folded state. <P>SOLUTION: To the rear end section of a seat section 10, a handle 22 which is urged downward by the connection with a spring 26 is freely vertically turnably attached. Also, a lock bar 18 is bridged in the lateral direction between a pair of right and left link members 43 and 43 which are projected from a front leg section 32. An engaging hook 25 which is projected downward from the handle 22 is engaged with the lock bar 18 by the urging force of the spring 26. Then, when the handle 22 is turned upward while resisting the urging force of the spring 26, the engagement between the engaging hook 25 and the lock bar 18 is released.
