PURPOSE: Electric tongs are provided to easily form waves by applying strong pressure to hair. CONSTITUTION: Electric tongs include a pair of first and second tong legs (10, 20) which is hinge-coupled to a base unit and first and second heating plates (12, 22) which are coupled to the first and second tong legs and are heated by heaters installed in the first and second tong legs. Protrusion units (14) are formed on the outer surface of the first heating plate in a longitudinal direction to approach the second heating plate and pressurize hair between the front of the protrusion units and the second heating plate. |
