<p>PURPOSE: A high-strength wire rod and steel wire having high drawability and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to obtain the wire rod having the sufficient drawbility and the wire rod of which the steel wire has high strength after a final drawing process without adding an expensive alloy element. CONSTITUTION: A high-strength wire rod having high drawability includes 0.1 to 0.3 wt% of C, 0.5 to 1.0 wt% of Si, 0.5 to 1.0 wt% of Mn, 0.003 to 0.005 wt% of B, 0.003 to 0.005 wt% of Nb, and remnants Fe and other inevitable impurities. The micro-structure of the wire rod includes ferrite and martensite. The area fraction of the ferrite is 80 to 85 area%, and the area fraction of the martensite is 15 to 20 area%. A high-strength steel wire having the high drawability includes 0.1 to 0.3 wt% of C, 0.5 to 1.0 wt% of Si, 0.5 to 1.0 wt% of Mn, 0.003 to 0.005 wt% of B, 0.003 to 0.005 wt% of Nb, and remnants Fe and other inevitable impurities. The micro-structure of the wire rod includes the ferrite and the martensite. The number of torsions in which delamination is not generated in the steel wire is over 15 times.
