PURPOSE: A submerged-type ultrasonic generator is provided to be submerged in molten steel to directly refine the size of an insertion in molten steel during casting, thereby reducing nozzle blockage. CONSTITUTION: A submerged-type ultrasonic generator includes an ultrasonic transducer(110) and a fireproof body(130). The ultrasonic transducer generates ultrasonic wave toward the molten steel in a tundish or a steel tap hole(24a).
