The computing device (102) compares a hash value (Hj) of data (Dj) stored in a memory block (120-j) with the hash value (hi) of the data (di) for each memory block (120-j) that forms destination-side memory (120). The computing device (102) transmits a result of the comparison to the computing device (101). The computing device (101) determines the necessity of the copying of the data (di) to the destination-side storage area (120).
