<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parallel optical transmission apparatus, surely radiating heat of an electric element to the cover side, while a tolerance in height between the inner surface of a cover and the top of the electric element is compensated. <P>SOLUTION: This parallel optical transmission apparatus includes: a substrate 5; an electric pluggable socket 1 fixed on the substrate 5; an optical module 3 removably mounted in a module storing recessed part 14 of the electric pluggable socket 1 and having an optical module substrate 34, the electric element 33 on the optical module substrate, and a cover 35 covering the optical module substrate 34 and the electric element 33; a pressing member 2 removably fixed to the electric pluggable socket; and a taper fiber 41 for parallel transmitting a light signal to the optical module 3. A thermal conductive tolerance compensating member 60 for compensating a gap caused by a tolerance in height between the inner surface of the cover 35 and the top of the electric element 33 is provided between the cover 35 and the electric element 33. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
