PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transfer a holding tray securing parallelism to an ink delivering surface of a face to be recorded of a material to be recorded on the holding tray even if a transfer plane formed of each point of contact at which a transfer roller and a discharging roller come in contact with the holding tray tilts to the ink delivering surface of a recording head. SOLUTION: The recording apparatus includes the holding tray 55 with a setting part 71 for a material Q to be recorded, the transfer roller 34 which comes in contact with a second surface being a back surface of the holding tray, the discharging roller 43 which is arranged downstream from the transfer roller and comes in contact with the second surface, and a recording executing unit 4 which is located between both the rollers and performs recording to the material to be recorded. The transfer plane 80 formed of each of points of contact S and U at which each of the transfer roller and the discharging roller comes in contact with the second surface of the holding tray is formed with a tilting angle β to the ink delivering surface of the recording head.
