The system (10) comprises a receiving device (12) with a volume for receiving a liquid mixture (14), which has oil-bearing plant portions and a carrier liquid. The oil-bearing plant portions have cellular membranes that enclose areas with oil. An electrode pair (16) is provided in the receiving volume, where the electrodes (20,22) are arranged at a distance (24) from each other. A voltage supply device (18) is provided for supplying a voltage impulse to the electrodes. A spark is generated between the electrodes, such that a local vaporization of the carrier liquid is carried out. An independent claim is included for a method for extraction of oil for obtaining hydrocarbons for vehicle fuels from plant material. |
