<p>PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method thereof for processing performance using a digital character are provided to generate images based on three-dimensional image of an actor and to offer improvised performance to audience by utilizing the generated image. CONSTITUTION: A performance processing unit (20) generates a virtual space in which a playable character, a non-playable character, an object and a background are arranged and interact with each other. The playable character acts based on an inputted motion. The performance processing unit plays the performance according to a pre-stored performance scenario in real time. An output unit (30) generates a performance video from the performance played by the performance processing unit. The output unit outputs the generated performance video to a display device.
