PURPOSE: A pharmaceutical composite with a double-layer tablet containing basic additives is provided to suppress generation of related compounds, to improve stability, and to enhance bioavailability, thereby being used as a therapeutic agent for treating hypertension and hypercholesterolemia. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composite comprises: a first layer containing non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof; and a second agent containing proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and a basic additive. The NSAID is naproxen. A method for manufacturing the pharmaceutical composite comprises the steps of: preparing granules for the first layer, containing naproxen or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof; preparing granules for the second layer, containing PPIs and the basic additives; and tableting the granules.
