<p>PURPOSE: A rotary head of a large diameter drilling machine is provided to be utilized for drilling large holes by effectively rotating a rod using a simple structure. CONSTITUTION: A rotary head of a large diameter drilling machine comprises a gearbox (110), an interlocking gear (120), a driving gear (130), a center shaft (140), couplers (151,152), and plain bearings (161,162). The interlocking gear is shaped into a ring formed with teeth on the inner and outer circumferences and is installed inside the gearbox. The driving gear is smaller than the interlocking gear. A plurality of driving gears is engaged with the outer circumference of the interlocking gear. A center shaft is engaged with the inner circumference of the interlocking gear and connected to a rod in order to rotate the rod with the rotation of the interlocking gear.</p> |
