EVALUATING APPARATUS FOR ENVIRONMENTAL PERFORMANCE OF FLOOR COVERINGS

PURPOSE: An evaluation device for the environmental performance of floor coverings is provided to prevent microorganism contamination in a chamber when the microorganism reducing performance of a product is evaluated and to construct a system for preventing all related systems and air from contamination. CONSTITUTION: An evaluation device for the environmental performance of floor coverings comprises: a heating chamber (1) which constantly maintains temperature and humidity; a main chamber (2) which is placed in the heating chamber, is blocked from the external environment, and substantially performs a performance evaluation; a cold and hot water supply device (3) which constantly maintains temperature and humidity and is capable of controlling the quantity of heat and the flow rate of fluid; an exhaust air sterilizing device for purifying polluted air; a clean air supply device which supplies clean air to the inside of the main chamber; a UV lamp (8) which sterilizes microorganisms in the main chamber; and a glove box (7) which enables external manipulation for preventing contamination.
