PURPOSE: A heat pump system and a control method thereof are provided to prevent the on-off operation of a compressor from being unnecessarily repeated by determining an outflow temperature based on the on-off duty value or operation time of the compressor. CONSTITUTION: A heat pump system comprises a compressor(12), heat exchangers(20,40), a memory part, and a control part. The compressor compresses a refrigerant. The heat exchangers exchange heat between the refrigerant and heat storage mediums. The memory part stores information on the outflow temperature of the heat storage mediums discharged from the heat exchangers. The control part controls the outflow temperature based on information on the operation of the compressor. |
