<p>This invention relates to a method for fitting a safety line cable on a tensioner, wherein a section of the cable is crimped in a sleeve (11) formed by the tensioner. According to the invention, the following operations are carried out: - passing the cable through the sleeve (11), - keeping the cable under tension at its end projecting from the sleeve (11), - crimping the cable in the sleeve (11). The invention also relates to a tensioner for a safety line capable of carrying out this method. Application to the installations for the safety of personnel working under dangerous conditions.</p> |
