HORN ANTENNA APPARATUS

PURPOSE: A horn antenna is provided to implement a terahertz transmitting/receiving module with high transfer efficiency at a low cost by using the characteristic of silicon of being etched anisotropically. CONSTITUTION: A horn antenna includes a substrate (100) and a silicone antenna unit (200). On the substrate, a feeding unit for feeding a terahertz band signal and a terahertz transmitting/receiving module for transmitting and receiving a terahertz band signal are placed. The silicone antenna unit contacts the substrate. As the surface contacting the substrate is etched, a horn cavity (225) one side of which is open to the outside in a direction horizontal to the contact surface is formed. The horn cavity is combined to the substrate and includes a radiation opening part one side of which is open to the outside in a direction horizontal to the contact surface.
