PURPOSE: A mobile terminal, a display device thereof, and a control method thereof can display data for data communication between the mobile terminal and the display device, considering user's convenience of the mobile terminal. CONSTITUTION: An interface unit (170) is connected to an external display device including a second display unit. A control unit (180) provides data of a first screen image to the external display device. The control unit generates a monitor window displaying a second screen image corresponding to the first screen image in a second display unit. The control unit provides an orientation direction of a housing to the external display device.
