PURPOSE: A driving circuit for a display panel is provided to reduce power consumption by gradually increasing a voltage level of a driving power voltage output from a low level to a predetermined level. CONSTITUTION: A power supply circuit (140,141) outputs a driving power supply voltage. A data driving circuit (14) includes multiple driving units which respectively include a digital/analog converting circuit (15) and a buffer (143). The driving unit generates a driving signal according to a data signal and the driving power supply voltage in order to drive a display panel. The voltage level of the driving power supply voltage of the power supply circuit increases from a low level to a predetermined level during a process which charges the display panel.
