PURPOSE: A synbiotic food composition is provided to help the dominant breeding of specific lactobacillus inside the intestines of a host. CONSTITUTION: A synbiotic food composition contains 0-20 parts by weight of tagatose and 0-1 part by weight of Lactobacillus casei for 100 parts by weight of the composition. The Lactobacillus casei is selected from Lactobacillus casei Shirota, Lactobacillus casei DN114001, or Lactobacillus casei-01. A fermented milk composition contains 0-20 parts by weight of tagatose, 0-1 part by weight of Lactobacillus casei, 0-10 parts by weight of skimmed milk powder, and 50-99 parts by weight of purified water for 100 parts by weight of the composition.
