LIQUID CRYSTAL COMPOSITION AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE HAVING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A liquid crystal composition has high response speed and nematic phase-isotropic transition temperature and has similar refraction anisotropy, dielectric anisotropy, and rotational viscosity to those of the conventional 3D liquid crystal composition. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal composition comprises 48-55 wt% of a first neutral liquid crystal selected from a group represented by chemical formula 1; 27-31 wt% of a second liquid crystal liquid crystal selected from a group represented by chemical formula 2; 4.9-5.2 wt% of a first polar liquid crystal selected from a group represented by chemical formula 3; 13-15 wt% of a second polar liquid crystal selected from a group represented by chemical formula 4; and 2.0-2.1 wt% of a third polar liquid crystal represented by chemical formula 5. In the chemical formulas, R, R1, and R2 are a C2-5 alkyl group, an alkenyl group, or an alkoxy group.
