PURPOSE: A device for controlling a vehicle ventilation system by sensing carbon monoxide and measuring contaminants using the sensed results is provided to simultaneously control the measurement of various contaminants. CONSTITUTION: A device for controlling a vehicle ventilation system by sensing carbon monoxide and measuring contaminants using the sensed results comprises a carbon monoxide measurement sensor (110), a nitrogen dioxide prediction module (120), and a ventilation device control module (130). The carbon monoxide measurement sensor is arranged inside of a vehicle and measures carbon monoxide to generate carbon monoxide measurement data. The nitrogen dioxide prediction module predicts the amount of nitrogen dioxide remaining in the vehicle based on the measurement data to generate prediction data. The ventilation device control module controls an air conditioner in the vehicle according to the prediction data and controls a window opening and closing device of the vehicle.
