The invention relates to methods for the pre-treatment of cellulose materials, more specifically, to methods for the treatment of cellulose materials prior to enzymatic hydrolysis.The object of the present invention is to enhance the pre-treatment efficiency, which would make it possible to increase the relative yield of glucose for its further enzymatic fermentation.According to the invention, the advanced object is attained, whereby, in the pre-treatment method, the cellulose material, prior to enzymatic hydrolysis, is dried, ground and then treated by the mechanico-chemical method, which is realised by passing ultrasound waves with a frequency of 18 - 20 kHz for 1.5 - 2.5 hours through the cellulose-containing material suspension in water, and then the obtained material is treated in an autoclave at a temperature of 120 – 140 ?C for 15 - 25 minutes. The advanced object is attained also, whereby, at first, pentosans are isolated from the cellulose material.
