The device comprises a safety valve (16) for letting out a part of a gaseous phase (14) when a pressure inside the storage tank exceeds an exhaust threshold. The storage tank comprises a liquid phase (12) surmounted by the gaseous phase. The safety valve comprises a conduit (18) having a first end opening into the tank at a level of the gaseous phase and a second end opening into a container (24) containing a liquid. A height between the second end and an upper surface of the liquid is adjusted according to the exhaust threshold. The container includes a transparent wall. The device comprises a safety valve (16) for letting out a part of a gaseous phase (14) when a pressure inside the storage tank exceeds an exhaust threshold. The storage tank comprises a liquid phase (12) surmounted by the gaseous phase. The safety valve comprises a conduit (18) having a first end opening into the tank at a level of the gaseous phase and a second end opening into a container (24) containing a liquid. A height between the second end and an upper surface of the liquid is adjusted according to the exhaust threshold. The container includes a transparent wall and is appeared as a bottle. The device further comprises a pressure reducer injecting a neutral gas into an interior of the tank when the pressure goes down below a threshold for triggering the injection, a pressure tank of a neutral gas, a first pipe connecting the container at an entrance of pressure reducer, a second pipe whose first end is connected on an outlet side of the pressure reducer and second end emerges in the tank, and a unit to reload the pressure tank of neutral gas. The threshold for triggering the injection is provided such that the interior of the tank is always in slight overpressure. A difference between the threshold for triggering the injection and the exhaust threshold is 10 mbar.
