The thermostat (V1) has a heating cartridge (C1) that includes a thermically conducting tubular envelope (33). A set of electric heating resistances (34-36) is partly arranged inside the envelope, and includes two terminals (35.3, 36.3) that leave the envelope according to a direction parallel to a central axis. A thermostatic element (30) contains a thermodilatable material (32), and a moving cup (31) that actuates a valve (20) with regard to a case (10) under the action of dilation of the thermodilatable material.
