PURPOSE: A screw compressor control method is provided to reduce unnecessary power loss by controlling the power supply of a motor by inputting a value which is gained from a pressure switch installed in a screw compressor. CONSTITUTION: A screw compressor recognizes the value of the maximum voltage amount and the maximum flux condition in load operation. When the load operation is converted into non-load operation, the value of voltage amount and a flux condition is recognized in the non-load operation. A proportional control method is executed by comparing the recognition value of a first process with the recognition value of a second process. An on or off control method is executed by comparing the recognition value of the first process with the recognition value of the second process.
