PURPOSE: A device for cutting vegetables is provided to increase the durability of a blade by preventing a large amount of vegetables from being inputted and the overloading to a motor. CONSTITUTION: A device for cutting vegetables comprises a case, a motor, a blade, and a cover (7). The cover includes a plunger (15) in which is connected to the cover and protruding to the case. The case comprises a first rotary member (17), a second rotary member (19), and a switch (21). The first rotary member is rotated by the plunger. The second rotary member is rotated by the first rotary member. The second rotary member is fixed at the switch. The switch is turned on/off by the second rotary member and transmits a detected signal to a control unit. |
