PURPOSE: A communications connect which is performing independent network configuring when initializing and a communications device including the same are provided to enable determining the connection state of a network. CONSTITUTION: A communications connect (100) comprises a communications port (170), a data conversion unit and a shield. A communications port connects a wired cable jack. The data conversion unit receives control data from the main control unit of a communications device through wired data communications and outputs transmission data to the communications port through packet conversion. The transmission data is controlled according to the configuration of the control data for being received through the wired data communications and transmitted through the communications port. The shield accommodates the communications port and accommodates a board with the data conversion unit mounted or combines with the board with the data conversion unit mounted.
