Disclosed is an aqueous dispersion of fine resin particles, which is characterized by containing fine resin particles that are formed of a copolymer containing 10-90% by mass of an aliphatic polyether unit and have a melting point of not less than 120°C and an average particle diameter of 1-100 µm (inclusive). The aqueous dispersion of fine resin particles is especially effective in cases where less than 1 part by mass of a dispersant is contained per 100 parts by mass of the copolymer or no dispersant is contained. In addition, it is preferable that the fine particles have a particle size distribution index of 1-3. The present invention is capable of providing an extremely practical aqueous dispersion which contains fine resin particles that are formed of a highly heat-resistant copolymer that contains an aliphatic polyether unit. |
