PURPOSE: A hybrid fishing rod is provided to decrease a maximum torque value generated in a peripheral direction of the fishing rod and to have excellent lightness and a bending strength by effectively reducing the frequency of the fishing rod when the fishing rode is turned to left and right. CONSTITUTION: A hybrid fishing rod includes at least two carbon fiber prepregs (C) that are laminated over a whole axial direction length of the fishing rod. At least one hybrid prepreg (H) including carbon fibers and aramid fibers is laminated in at least 5 cm period among the whole axial direction length of the fishing rod. The number of the laminated carbon fiber prepregs is 2 to 10. The carbon fiber prepregs comprise 20 to 80 wt% of carbon fibers arranged in one direction and 80 to 20 wt% of a thermosetting resin.
