PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a failed fuel detector capable of stably controlling each activated carbon absorption cylinder at an appropriate temperature regardless of open/close operation of each flow control valve.SOLUTION: A failed fuel detector includes: at least one of tag gas collection devices 1 and 2 inside which activated carbon absorption cylinders 4 and 5 and heaters 13 and 14 are disposed; at least one tag gas compression device 3 inside which an activated carbon absorption cylinder 6 and a heater 15 are disposed; temperature detectors 7 through 9 for detecting temperatures of the activated carbon absorption cylinders 4 through 6; and a control section 16 constituted of a programmable logic controller for performing temperature control of the activated carbon absorption cylinder 4 through 6 by controlling the heaters 13 through 15 and a supply amount of coolant gas on the basis of measured values of the temperature detectors 7 through 9. In the failed fuel detector, the control section 16 monitors variations of measured values of a flow meter 18 provided in a coolant gas common pipe 24 and controls opening degrees of flow control valves 10 through 12 provided in respective coolant gas supply pipes in response to magnitude of the variations. |
