PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a satellite signal receiver that allows a user to easily grasp reception states and can be applied to a small-sized device such as a wrist watch.SOLUTION: A satellite signal receiver comprises: a reception section for receiving satellite signals transmitted from position information satellites; a reception state display device for displaying reception states of the satellite signals; reception state determination means 52 for determining the reception states of the satellite signals being received by the reception section; and display control means 53 that controls the reception state display device to display the reception states determined by the reception state determination means 52. The reception state determination means 52 determines levels of the reception states on the basis of a number of position information satellites receiving the satellite signals and the levels of respective reception signals. The display control means 53 displays the levels of the reception states determined by the reception state determination means 52 by the reception state display device.
