Disclosed are a method for implementing a virtual network, and a network management system. Said method comprises the following steps: creating a virtual network; creating multiple exclusive super ports within said virtual network; configuring connections between said super ports and corresponding network elements; when creating a service traversing said virtual network or a service docking with said virtual network, said super ports are used as the routing resources of said services. In the present invention, adopting the virtual network, and super ports and connection groups provided by the virtual network, may create transparent end to end services traversing the third party network, and provide transparent and uniform end to end service management in the client side, greatly facilitating network management in the scene, reducing the risk of network management, and improving network reliability.
