PURPOSE: A physical amount measuring system using a vertical resonance surface light emitting laser is provided to form a frequency variable light source having a wide bandwidth by using a plurality of VCSELs, thereby enabling the wavelength modulation without forming an MEMS device. CONSTITUTION: A physical amount measuring system using a vertical resonance surface light emitting laser (102) includes an injection current modulation circuit (100), an optical coupler (104), an optical filter (107), a signal processing unit (108), a plurality of optical fiber bragg grating sensors (105), and an optical detector (106). The injection current modulation circuit directly modulates a current inputted into the vertical resonance surface light emitting laser for generating a wavelength variable light source. The optical coupler forms optical passage of optical pulses outputted by the vertical resonance surface light emitting laser into a parallel multichannel. The optical filter is connected to the optical coupler and measures and corrects a change in frequencies of the lights emitted from the vertical resonance surface light emitting laser. The signal processing unit analyzes, controls, and detects signals measured by the optical filter. The optical fiber bragg grating sensor is connected to the optical coupler. The optical detector measures a change in the intensity of the lights reflected by the optical fiber bragg grating sensor.
