PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a kitchen apparatus in which the top surface of a counter is lit bright, but the light is not so bright for a user.SOLUTION: A kitchen apparatus includes a counter and a lighting device 3. The counter includes a rising wall portion 5 rising up from the rear end of a top surface, and an extending portion 19 extending forward from the upper end of the rising wall portion 5. The lighting device 3 is provided at a corner part 20 formed by the front surface of the rising wall portion 5 and the lower surface of the extending portion 19. The lighting device 3 includes a light emitter 26 for irradiating the top of the counter, and a light shielding portion 49 for shielding light emitted obliquely forward and upward from the light emitter 26. |
