PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of adjusting a balance between the brightness of an image and a crosstalk, and to provide a technique to control a light source for displaying a 3D image in response to the adjustment of the balance.SOLUTION: An image display apparatus 10 comprises: an image display unit 110 which comprises a light source 114 and displays a 3D image including a right-eye image and a left-eye image; an adjustment information reception unit 124 which receives adjustment information for adjusting the synchronization between the display timing of the 3D image and 3D eyeglasses 20 comprising a shutter unit 240 which allows the right-eye image and the left-eye image to pass therethrough; a synchronization signal generation unit 108 which generates a synchronization signal to transmit to the 3D eyeglasses 20, in accordance with the display timing and the adjustment information received by the adjustment information reception unit 124; and a light source control unit 104 which controls the light source 114 of the image display unit 110, in accordance with the display timing and the adjustment information received by the adjustment information reception unit 124. |
