PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current detection device receiving little influence by ambient environmental conditions, and capable of detecting a large current range from a minute current to a large current with a small body and a low cost.SOLUTION: A current detection device includes: an exciting coil 4 wound around a magnetic core 3 surrounding a conducting wire in which a measurement current flows; oscillating means 5 for generating output voltage reversing a polarity of an exciting current supplied to the exciting coil 4 in a saturation state or a close state thereof according to a measured threshold value; current detecting means 6 for detecting the measurement current on the basis of duty changes of the output voltage outputted from the oscillating means 5; frequency detecting means 7 for detecting the frequency of the output voltage outputted from the oscillating means 5; and amplitude detecting means 8 for detecting the amplitude of the output voltage outputted from the oscillating means 5. The measurement current is detected on the basis of the outputs of the current detecting means 6, the frequency detecting means 7, and the amplitude detecting means 8. |
