PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking assist apparatus that allows an occupant of an own vehicle to select a route enabling parking without having a feeling of fear and strangeness.SOLUTION: In a parking assist apparatus 1, a route searching unit 50 searches a target route from a plurality of routes where an own vehicle 60 can reach a target parking position P without coming into contact with obstacles while the unit excludes non-selected routes which meet predetermined conditions that the routes may give a feeling of fear and strangeness to an occupant of the own vehicle 60. As a result, according to the parking assist apparatus 1, the occupant of the own vehicle 60 can select a route allowing parking without having a feeling of fear and strangeness. |
