A conductive tape and a liquid crystal display having the same are provided to remove static electricity generated from a liquid crystal panel by strengthening adhesive power of the conductive tape. A liquid crystal panel(10) is accommodated in a bottom cover. Conductive tapes(30) have one end attached to portions of the liquid crystal panel and the other end attached to portions of the bottom cover. The conductive tapes have one or more cutaway portions(31). The bottom cover is made of a conductive material. The conductive tapes are cloth tapes weaved with a conductive material. The bottom cover includes a lower surface portion(29a) disposed to be parallel to the liquid crystal panel at a lower portion of the liquid crystal panel, and a side portion(29b) extending from the lower surface portion and disposed to be perpendicular on at least one side of the liquid crystal panel. |
