SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR USER INTERACTION

PURPOSE: A user interaction system and a method thereof are provided to transfer tactility to hand contactlessly according to various patterns without using a glove type haptic device, by changing tactility delivery position and intensity on the basis of three dimensional position of the hand. CONSTITUTION: A display device (100) provides an image to a user, and a sensing device (200) senses three dimensional position of the hand of the user. A tactility transfer device (300) transfers tactility to the hand of the user contactlessly, and determines tactility transfer position and intensity on the basis of the three dimensional position of the hand of the user. The tactility transfer device determines tactility generation position on the basis of the horizontal position of the user hand, and determines the tactility generation intensity on the basis of the height of the user hand. The tactility transfer device determines the tactility generation intensity on the basis of the height of the user hand and the kind of interaction which is to be provided to the hand of the user.
