PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sun visor for a vehicle, configured to buffer the impact to be applied to a vanity mirror unit to prevent breakage of the mirror.SOLUTION: A back surface of a mirror 21 fixed to an open window part 10 of one body element 6A of a sun visor body 2 is in contact with or close to a buffer plate 15 integrated with the other body element 6B, on substantially the whole surface. When the sun visor body 2 is set in a use position, and an external force F is applied perpendicularly to the vanity mirror unit 20, the mirror 21 can be prevented from being broken due to surface rigidity of the mirror 21 compensated by the buffer plate 15 and a buffering function to be obtained when the buffer plate 15 bends integrally with the mirror 21 in the perpendicular direction. |
