The arrangement has an annular seal (40) including static and movable seal lips (46, 47) that are interconnected. A seal is received in a receiving unit, and includes peripheral and axial walls. The seal radially supports the static seal lip in the peripheral wall. The movable seal lip lies on a wall adjoining a receiver under a slidable support. The wall and the movable seal lip respectively include axial grooves (43) in an axial region, where the grooves are provided in a circumferential direction. The axial grooves of the movable seal lip are interconnected over a peripheral groove (45).
