<p>A device for treating refractory iron ore comprises a regenerative rotary hearth furnace. The regenerative rotary hearth furnace comprises a furnace chamber enclosed by an annular inner wall (2), an annular outer wall (3) and a furnace bottom (4). The furnace bottom (4) is rotatable. The furnace chamber is divided into a feeding area, a pre-heating area, a heating area, a high-temperature area, a control area and a discharge area. A feeding hole (5) is provided on the annular outer wall (3) of the feeding area, and a discharge hole (6) is provided on the annular outer wall (3) of the discharge area. Also provided is a method for treating refractory iron ore by using the device. The regenerative rotary hearth furnace in the device adopts a regenerative combustion technology, and therefore, the time of pellets in the pre-heating area of the rotary hearth furnace is shortened, the time of the pellets in a reducing area is indirectly increased and the metallization ratio of directly reduced iron is improved.</p> |
