The light guide (1) has light input (2), elongated light-guiding unit (4) and coupling-out portion (8) by which coupled-in light (5-2) from the light guide is coupled. The surfaces (6) of the light-guiding unit are formed as planar structure. The coupling-out portion is provided with spaced-apart notches in the edge (7) of the light-guiding unit. An independent claim is included for vehicle lamp.
