<p>PURPOSE: A device for chamfering the edge of steel plates is provided to prevent problems generated when each edge is manually chamfered. CONSTITUTION: A device for chamfering the edge of steel plates (100) comprises a table (10), a top cutting machine (20), a lower cutting machine (40), and a steel plate transport device. The table is horizontally installed to the top of a frame (1). A support roller (13) guiding a chamfering unit of the steel plates while being supported is installed. The top cutting machine is downwardly installed to the top of the table and chamfers the top edge of the steel plate by a chamfering cutter (31). The lower cutting machine is upwardly installed to the lower surface of the table. The lower cutting machine chamfers the lower edge of the steel plates by the power of a motor. The steel plate transport device is installed in the front end of the top cutting machine.</p> |
