PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic treatment apparatus capable of treating arrhythmia with simple treatment.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic treatment apparatus includes: a long, thin probe which is inserted into a body, has a contact surface 2a that is brought into contact with tissue in the body and an ultrasonic generating device 24 that radiates ultrasonic waves into the tissue through the contact surface 2a; and a signal detecting portion 22 which is provided at the contact surface 2a of the probe and detects an electrical signal from the tissue. The ultrasonic generating device 24 generates ultrasonic waves focused at a position F on the other side of the contact surface 2a from the ultrasonic generating device 24 with the contact surface 2a in between, the position being away from the contact surface 2a in a direction intersecting the contact surface 2a. |
