PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide techniques for allowing a communication device to appropriately communicate with a portable device.SOLUTION: When an MFP 10 receives NFC information via an NFC I/F (YES in S2), the MFP 10 determines from the NFC information whether the MFP 10 and a portable device are participating in the same network (S6). If the MFP 10 and the portable device are determined not to be participating in the same network, the MFP 10 connects with the portable device (S18) and then performs data communication via a wireless LAN I/F (S20). If the MFP 10 and the portable device are determined to be participating in the same network, the MFP 10 performs data communication via the wireless LAN I/F (S20) over the same network as the portable device. |
